One of the cornerstones of JCHA, Keystone Community Recreation Center is located at 841 Pardee Street and provides a safe, drug and alcohol-free recreational environment for all children residing in the Johnson City Housing Community. The center encourages and maintains discipline and respect through physically active, educationally supportive programs that include:

  • Tutoring through Coalition for Kids
  • Creative Arts
  • Competitive Basketball
  • Summer Kids Program

Keystone Recreation Center is hosting the Coalition for Kids (C4K) Afterschool Program for the 2014-2015 school year. This program is open to students in K-4th grade. Students in 5th-6th grade are able to participate in C4K at the Indian Trail site. The Keystone Rec will resume normal hours when C4K is on training and holiday breaks.

Monday – Friday – 1pm – 6pm Monday – Friday – 10am – 5pm

Summer Program for Kids

The Keystone Rec Center offers a Summer Program for kids in 1st-12th grades. The program and a daily lunch are provided for free of charge, but all participants must be registered.


 

Facility Rental

Keystone Recreation Center is available to rent for birthday parties, baby showers, graduation events, and much more! All money generated through rental fees is used by the Keystone Resident Council to help sponsor community events throughout the year. If you would like to rent the Keystone Recreation facility, please complete the event reservation form and a JCHA employee will be in contact with you.
