Senior Option Services
Senior Option Services, or S.O.S., is a program developed by the Johnson City Housing Authority to assist the elderly and disabled so they can remain in their homes as long as possible.
Through the program, helpers are provided through the organizations Resident Opportunity and Self Sufficiency (R.O.S.S.) and AmeriCorps Community Cares to help with the following tasks:
- Light house cleaning
- Arrange transportation
- Call your doctor
- Call your pharmacy
- Pick up medications
- Help organize medications
- Help manage bills
- Personal care
- Companionship
