Update on Waiting Lists for Public Housing and Project Based Rental Assistance effective 08/01/2025

The Johnson City Housing Authority will be closing the waiting list for Public Housing 1 bedrooms on 07/31/2025 and the waiting list for Project Based Rental Assistance efficiency is opening on 08/01/2025. We are also accepting applications for Public Housing (2 bedrooms to 5 bedrooms) and Project Based Rental Assistance (1 bedrooms to 5 bedrooms). Applications may be picked up at Johnson City Housing Authority located at 901 Pardee Street, Johnson City, TN 37601. Applications must be submitted Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays between 9 am and 11 am. Please contact the Admissions and Occupancy Department with the JCHA at 423-232-4784 for more information.
