About the Department
The mission of the Community Policing Department is to provide a safe environment for all residents so they are able to peacefully enjoy their accommodations and take pride in their
neighborhood. This is being accomplished through our education, prevention, intervention and enforcement efforts.
The Education and Prevention activities are geared towards increasing resident awareness of the different programs that exist in the community, which will assist the adults in becoming better parents and children to reject illegal drugs. By enhancing the youth experience through presenting recreational, cultural, and other positive activities they would otherwise not be able to experience.
